Neon Rainbow
Anyone who knows, knows that Jil Sander changed the landscape of fashion for the better and brighter with their stand out day glow collection this Spring. Simple cuts in electric hues suddenly felt fresh again, and the term 'colour blocking' became part of our everyday vernacular overnight. Here are a few of my favourite cheery picks for a burst of brightness into your wardrobe and life!

Have you any DREAMS you'd like to sell?
So last weekend I went to a 1970s themed party. I made the birthday girl some 70s CDs, to get us in the mood - a nice mix of boogie wonderland disco and acoustic hippy folk. I reminded myself how much I dig Fleetwood Mac and how much I am in love with Stevie Nicks' voice and how much I am a bit in love with her and her 60 something awesomeness. Her style is so 70s, an amazing amalgamation of eccentric gypsy meets unique goth.
mad LOVE for PAMELA
I lust over a great deal of jewellery as you may have noticed from my last few blog posts, especially crosses, turquoise and rough raw stones and the heavy metal variety. Pamela Love has been towards the top of my most coveted list for a while now. This is why I got slightly giddy when the New York based designer opened up her studio to Teen Vogue. Go ahead, take a peak into the creative world of 'Love'.

Got me flying so high in the sky
these poignant pendants carry an air of sadness about them, acting as a kind of memento mori indicative of trapped nature reminiscent of a loss of freedom and indeed death. They have a sad fragility about them and are beautiful none the less. Available at http://www.bjorgshop.com/
Crystal Castles
Rough cut raw crystal pendants and accessories are my obsession du jour. They are like an extension of the navajo and American Indian style jewellery I have always favoured. Here are 3 designers who make them, I adore their bohemian feel; it's like Mystic Meg meets Pocahontas!! I am dying to add one to my collection. I would love a raw crystal pendant of sorts or a vial necklace to make me feel like I am wearing a secret potion around my neck.

I love you Yeezy

best of the rest:: Met Ball 2011
I think Isabel Lucas' stunning look at this year's Met Ball takes a lot to beat! However these are my other favourites!
Blake Lively arrived to the event on the arm of Karl Lagerfeld, as the new face of Chanel. She looked radiant in a taupe tulle pailette embroidered dress with chiffon sash from Chanel’s Autumn/Winter 09/10 Haute Couture Collection. The dress was set off by her newly copper locks, a colour that technically shouldn't work on anybody but looks beautiful!
I always love Rihanna, and this asymmetric black jewel encrusted thigh slit dress with scalloped edges was no exception. Her mermaid plait made the dress feel young and contemporary.
Lastly was Christina Ricci who embodied gothic glamour, looking like she has come full circle since her Wednesday Adams days, wearing a mega watt Zac Posen cobweb lace fishtail number. J'adore!
ethereal elegance
This right here is a slice of sartorial perfection in pleated pink Vuitton. Isabel Lucas looks like she arrived at this year's Met Ball on a cloud and dismounted her unicorn before walking the red carpet. The pearl headpiece of like something a princess from another galaxy would wear. The whole ensemble is so stunning and so black tie appropriate for the prestigious event, yet she keeps her laid-back Australian beach girl vibe. I am in love with it. This outfit cements this beauty at one-to-watch!

Queen of Leon
This dreamy union is the only pairing that could make me exclaim 'What Royal Wedding!?' Last Thursday the world's most SEX ON FIRE couple ever got hitched in a small ceremony in Montecito, California, the bride wore strapless Vera Wang with Chantilly lace. The husky God-fearing southern rocker and the Californian goddess make the perfect Hollywood rock and roll fairytale. Caleb Followill met Victoria's Secret angel Lily Aldridge at Coachella music festival in 2007. I knew Coachella was the place where dreams come true! I hope this perfect pair last forever, and that she inspires many more amazing albums!
